Burns Sonic Model 1961 - Red

A super cool early Burns Sonic Model!

These guitars can be seen on stage with many early British band lineups before the UK‘s embargo on USA made products was lifted.

This Sonic Model is in fairly good shape for its age and retains most of its original parts apart from the nut. The Van Ghent tuners work great and the Tri-Sonic pickups sound very good!

The frets have a little bit of wear on the treble side but the guitar is still nicely playable!

There is some paint chipping off on the bottom right next to the strap button and a little bit of rust on the vibrato units arm.

These feature the same vibrato units used on Gretsch Duo Jets at the time just like Malcolm Young!

Comes in its original hardcase which has been painted blue with a very old coily cable and strap inside, the cable will need to have one jack resoldered and the strap is broken from one side.
