Fender Mustang Bass 1973 - Competition Burgundy

A beautiful 1973 Mustang bass in a rare Competition Burgundy custom color!

The bass is 100% original apart from the thumbrest. It’s in fantastic condition, well played but very well taken care of, it features a lovely rosewood fretboard with a spectacular birdseye maple neck. The pickguard shows some warping and the pickups sound absolutely fantastic! This Mustang bass is a transitional model, it comes without the mutes on the bridge and also the thumb rest is on the bass side. A custom made mute is provided with the bass. Comes in a nice quality hardcase which is slightly longer but has some foam to accommodate the bass’s size.
