Fender Telecaster 1976 Black

A beautiful 76' Tele
She's extremely playable and sounds huge with a beautifully figured Birdseye maple neck!
The guitar has been routed for an original 70's wide Range humbucker in the neck position.
The volume pot is a Noble 500k while the tone pot remains original.
The backplate is from 76 too but doesn't match the headstock serial, this might be a factory hiccup.the frets are original still with lots of life! the bridge pickup is a bare knuckle 'brown sugar’.
The nut has been also changed to brass which apparently came as an accessory new with guitar from fender.
There is some lovely wear on the edges of the neck and body, it's a very well cared for but played Tele. Comes in a newer moulded fender Hardcase.
