Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman 1997 - Burgundy

A supremely comfortable Chet Atkins Country Gentleman from Gibson’s Artist series, made in small quantities, these large but slim semi hollow guitars pack a real punch with an unusual 25.5” scale and very high end appointments including a dark ebony fretboard with thumbnail mop inlays, inlaid ebony bridge base, gold hardware, ultra bound body and f-holes, German Gibson tuners with swivel winders , master volume, master tone and dual separate pickup volumes..

The guitar is 100% original but has had some gassing out on the pickguard and arm rest resulting in them being professionally replaced with new material while keeping the original binding.
One other cool feature that Chet had in mind for this guitar is having the pickups very far away from each other as to never disrupt the thumb pick! The guitar plays like butter and comes in it’s original tan brown hardcase . Weighs just 2.8kg
