Here’s a beautiful blonde ES-175 from 1980!
This one has a lot of 70’s appointments like the ‘Squareish’ gibson logo, german made Gibson deluxe tulip machine heads, a 3piece maple neck construction with a volute and ‘witch hat’ knobs.
The guitar is Stamped as a Factory Second, but there are no visible defects or blemishes on the guitar so this is a little bit of a mystery
The pickups Are ‘Tim Shaw’ patent number humbuckers, they sound fantastic and have never had the covers removed. All of the electronics are original and in very good working order.
the Fretboard is beautiful and chocolatey with split parallelogram inlays! The frets are original, low and wide 70’s style , they still have a lot of life in them.
There’s some general wear on the guitar like weather checking , binding yellowing and a few small marks where it hung on a stand.
