Gibson ES-335 Dot 1991 

A very pretty ES-335 from the ‘Good wood years’

This one is 100% original with nickel parts including an abr-1 bridge and Grover roto matic machine heads. The pickups are 57’ classics with nickel covers (these early 57’ classic pickups have a cult following of their own). The front and back of the body have a beautiful subtle flame to them and some minor straight weather checking.

The guitar was originally bought from Denmark street in London and still has the shops business card in the case.

Unfortunately she suffered a neck break in the late 90’s, the crack was professionally repaired and is very stable, it’s at least a very clean crack and the headstock was never separated from the body.

The neck is a total 60’s neck very slim and fast with great tall frets which are in very good condition for their age. Action is very low and playability is insane.

There’s a few signs of use and playwear on the guitar including a small stand mark on the back of the neck but in general it’s very well looked after.

Comes in the original tan brown hardcase with purple plush interior and silky blanket. Comes with the owners manual, case card and original Gibson strap from the 90’s!

There’s a small factory stamp on the back of the headstock under the made in usa stamp saying
