A Badass Les Paul Custom from 1985!
Legend has it that these were only made for the Japanese market with Kahler tremolos before Gibson started regularly putting Kahlers on their instruments.

The guitar plays and sounds great but has a few players modifications which include
A different wiring system. the two knobs are master volume and tone while two mini switches are for splitting each humbucker,
Another is for phase and finally a kill switch!

There are only two extra holes on the guitar, they are also done professionally and with symmetry, it wouldn’t be too hard to plug the holes and bring it back to standard setup if you desire.

The frets are original and the fretboard is a beautiful dark ebony with block inlays,
The binding has nicely yellowed all over the guitar and there is also some nice weather checking all over the guitar.
It’s also got some buckle rash on the back and many different signs of playwear
But there are no breaks or Repairs.

The back of the neck was stripped at one point but the owner wanted to bring it back to a matte kind of black. There is a distinct V where you can see where the original finish meets the new.

Pickups are newer Gibson 496r in the neck and 500t in the bridge with gold pole pieces.

The case is very nicely worn and original to the guitar. Weighs 4.7kg
