A tremendous instrument!  Light as a feather 🪶
this LG3 is in great condition for a 70 plus year old guitar, it’s mostly original except the bridge which was most likely replaced a while back, the bridge is Brazilian and made in the same style of the later LG models (reversed belly bridge).
the bridge plate and internal scalloped X-bracing are all original.  There are two cracks on the lower right side which have been long attended to and are stable. The fretboard is a dark Brazilian rosewood and still has the original frets which play fine! The neck is one of the most beautiful Honduran mahogany we’ve seen. The machine heads are single line kluson period correct but not original to the guitar. Lots of beautiful weather checking all throughout, it’s really a haunting cannon of a guitar with a beautiful loud, dry and balanced sound. A lightly made instrument with lots of mojo that will surely make a great companion for life!
Serial on the neck block reads 7038
Comes in a non original hardcase
