Gibson Melody Maker SG 1968 - Ebony

Here’s a tremendous 1960’s Gibson Melody Maker in refurbished Player Grade condition! 

The guitar is made out of Honduran Mahogany and is super lightweight weighing in at only 2.5kg!

The guitar was professionally refinished in semi matte ultra thin nitrocellulose lacquer. 
The pickups are Sanford Magnetic 9022 stellar sounding P90s!

It’s wired with high end Japanese pots and vintage 60’s polystyrene Capacitors all wired with Vintage Cloth wire.

All the hardware is Nickel historic from Gibson including a non-wire Abr 1 bridge going directly into the body with a lightweight aluminium tailpiece, reflector knobs and a custom made wooden pickguard. 

The machine heads are Kluson classic 6 in line and the frets are totally brand new medium jumbo. The guitar plays like a dream! Vintage wood equals vintage tone!
