Hofner 500/1 1989-91 - Sunburst

A beautiful late 80’s/early 90’s hofner 500/1 bass!

this bass was made in Germany and is all original apart from a replaced control plate (the original control panel is included with the bass)
this violin bass has a beautiful sunburst finish with some nice wide figured flame maple on the back and sides, the ‘Blade’ pickups sound fantastic, powerful and thumpy!

In general it’s very light and fun to play.

There is some general play wear on the bass, some small dings and surface scratches, it’s also got some faint fingernail wear on the top.

Comes in the original hardcase with replaced handle.
