National Varsity 66 res-o-glass 1960’s - Gold

Here’s a super cool fiber glass bodied national from the early 60’s, the guitar retains all of it’s original parts including the screaming microphonic pickup which sounds fantastic!

the guitar was refinished In gold at some point , these were only available in black,

It looks like the original black finish is still underneath. its currently set up for slide with rather high action but still playable with the finger. For the guitar to be played with very low action, one needs to do some set up and fret work. this has been my main personal slide guitar for a Few years now , but it’s time for her to move on!
